A traineeship focuses on making entry to the industry easy. During the 8 week training course you build knowledge for the industry by completing health and safety and the introduction to construction qualifications.
In addition you gain key skills in employability such as:

CV writing, job applications and interview skills

Gain work experience in the industry

Maths and English (unless exempt)
During the training you do not earn a wage but our offer ensures you do not lose out while you complete your training.

We will cover the cost of your travel to and from the traineeship training.

We provide free breakfasts each Tuesday and Friday of the training.

The Prince's Trust have also offered to help cover the cost of work clothing.

Finally, while we coach you through your CSCS training and pay for your CSCS card when you've finished your training!

How do I know if I am eligible to complete the course?
If you are aged between 16 to 18 and you are not currently in education or training you are eligible for our traineeship.
When will I receive my exam results?
Once you have completed your training you will receive your exam results within 4 weeks.
What do I need to complete the training?
To complete the training you must attend the training and pass the exams at the end, if you do not attend you can not attempt the exams. If you do not pass the exams the first time we provide the opportunity to continue the training and take the exams again.
You must have a current passport or driving licence (if you do not currently have those then you can provide other forms of ID), you must also know your National Insurance number.
I am a Parent or Guardian, what do I need to know?
A traineeship takes the apprenticeship ideal and condenses it into a much shorter form course. During the traineeship, the attendee will first learn the knowledge required to enter the workforce and after that training is complete, they will then move on to experience the construction industry and gain first hand experience and potentially gain full time employment.
