Health & Social Care
Invest in your growth
with Training Strategies
If you are an individual searching for an apprenticeship or an employer interested in upskilling your staff we can revolutionise your training from entry level to senior management. This ensures everybody is able to fulfil their role more effectively.
Before the course
Our team of experts that currently work in the health and social care sector are on hand to guide you through the process. As apprenticeships are delivered primarily on-the-job, your tutor will liaise with you and your employer to ensure our training is bespoke and relevant to your current job role.
During the course
80% of the course will be completed as you is working, putting newly developed skills into practice from the offset. For the remaining 20%, apprentices complete off-the-job training, which includes: online learning, training and shadowing delivered by the employer, industry visits and time spent with your tutor as well as writing and completing assessments.
Our high quality tutors will provide constant support and guidance during the programme, ensuring you are confident and comfortable at all times.
Candidates are required to complete an End-Point Assessment (EPA) carried out by an independent organisation, this tests everything covered throughout the apprenticeship.
Progression Routes
Depending on the apprenticeship level you have completed, you may have some different options of progression on to higher levels of the programme with

How was your experience
with Training Strategies?
- Gloria Pitso
My decision to work within the Health & Social care sector originates from something so personal and important to my family; my youngest daughter has Asperger Syndrome. I did not want to simply diagnose her; I wanted to equip myself with the skills and means to ensure my daughter is able to live to the highest possible standard.
The partnership between my employer and training provider, Mencap and Training Strategies, has totally transformed my life; I now have the skills and abilities I felt that I truly needed.
